Files lost in Briefcase due to amount of data requested from NT server.

Cause:

When 'Briefcase' is used to synchronize files stored on a server with files stored on a client, a network call is made to the server, which returns a list of shared data to the client. If there are too many network calls, the server data buffer may not be large enough to contain the full list of shared resources, causing the synchronization to fail or files to be lost.

Solution:

There is no solution at this time. Microsoft is working on this problem.
